CabbyCare Provides Free Taxi Trips for The Needy

CabbyCare provided free taxi trips to a needy cancer-stricken patient seeking treatment at the National University Hospital for three months at the request of a student group from the National University of Singapore.



Taxi Vouchers for a Client of 365 Cancer Prevention Society

CabbyCare sponsored $300-worth of taxi vouchers for a cancer patient, a 365 Cancer Prevention Society client.



St Hilda's Community Services Centre Christmas High Tea 2010

Close to 20 CabbyCare members took time off to convey the elderly from St Hilda's Community Services Centre to a Christmas High Tea Session at Mandarin Orchard Hotel on 12 December 2010.



CabbyCare Participates in the Yellow Ribbon Run

Close to 30 CabbyCare members took time off on the morning of Sunday, 5 September 2010, to participate in the six-km Yellow Ribbon Run.


CabbyCare Fulfills Cancer-stricken Child's Wish to Visit Sentosa

Cabby Tay Kee Hoong of CabbyCare was supposed to give a cancer-stricken child and her family two free taxi trips to and from Sentosa on 7 and 9 August. But Cabby Tay went the extra mile and brought the whole family on a short tour to Orchard, the Padang and Mount Faber for sightseeing as the child seldom has the opportunity to go out.

CabbyCare Volunteered for ComfortDelGro’s Home Improvement Programme

On 30 May, 12 CabbyCare members gave up a whole Sunday to join some 200 ComfortDelGro management and staff in cleaning and painting one-room rental flats at Bukit Merah View for the elderly of Lions Befrienders. They also delivered over 50 cans of paint about four days earlier.


ComfortDelGro & CabbyCare Make $50,000 Gift

ComfortDelGro and CabbyCare members donated $50,000, including 34 new wheelchairs, to Handicaps Welfare Association, the Movement for the Intellectually Disabled of Singapore, the Singapore Association of the Visually Handicapped, Friends of the Disabled Society and The Singapore Association for the Deaf on 1 April 2010. St Hilda’s Community Services Centre Chinese New Year Dinner

More than 10 CabbyCare members provided free two-way transfers for about 50 residents attending the Chinese New Year Dinner organised by the St Hilda’s Community Services Centre on 27 February.



CabbyCare Celebrates the Lunar New Year Together

CabbyCare members turned out in full force for its annual Chinese New Year Lunch at The Dragon Restaurant on 27 February. They were treated to a sumptuous nine-course meal, endless rounds of karaoke and were given diesel vouchers.




Free Meals and Ang Baos for the Needy

On the first day of the Lunar New Year, CabbyCare members chose to deliver packets of food to about 40 needy and elderly residents. They also distributed a $20 ang bao and two mandarin oranges out of their own pockets to each elderly resident.









Free Trips for Friends of the Disabled Society Flag Day 2010

On 23 January, 11 CabbyCare members provided free two-way trips to Friends of the Disabled Society members on their Flag Day.
